How It's Going?

Hi, I'm Maulana Ahmad Aji Triadi, a software engineer focused on building practical, efficient, and user-friendly software. My journey into technology started with curiosity about computers and how software works. I began experimenting with Visual Basic 6.0, eventually discovered web development, and started learning PHP, blogging, and building web applications. Along the way, I also explored graphic design and participated in logo design competitions. In 2018, I joined a programming competition and placed second, which gave me more confidence to take programming seriously. I continued my studies at Universitas AMIKOM Yogyakarta, where I built academic and personal projects while developing a stronger foundation in software development.

After university, I started working professionally as a web developer and later took on freelance projects. Over time, my role and interests grew beyond just web development. I've worked across different parts of the stack, mainly with PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, REST APIs, and PostgreSQL. These experiences taught me that good software isn't just about making something work. It should also be maintainable, reliable, efficient, and useful. Working on different projects and codebases also helped me become more independent, communicate better, solve problems from different perspectives, and adapt to changing requirements.

Today, I'm focused on growing as a software engineer and strengthening my understanding of software architecture, system design, performance, developer tooling, deployment, and scalable systems. I'm also exploring technologies like Go and Next.js to broaden my perspective and become a better engineer beyond the tools I already use.

Outside of professional work, I enjoy building personal projects to experiment with new ideas and learn new technologies. This website is part of that journey, a place to share what I'm building, what I'm learning, and how I'm growing as an engineer. My journey started with curiosity, and that's still what drives me today: build something, break it, understand it, and make it better.
